Natalie Lemonnier, Executive Director
Responsibilities: Co-Founder, oversees operations in U.S. and Uganda.
Background: BOH Co-Founder, bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
What she loves: Natalie’s favorite part of her job is program development in Uganda. She also enjoys creating her own recipes, running on the beach, and listening to her favorite songs on repeat.
Amede Cathie, BSSP Uganda AdvisorResponsibilities: Cathie oversees BSSP coaches in mentoring our students in Uganda. She is also a leader to the women as a Board member of WOCAP (BOH's partner organization).
Background: Secondary education teacher and Co-Founder of WOCAP.
What she loves: Her favorite part of her job is visiting the children at school and guiding them towards their futures. She has two children and is a wonderful mother and great cook!
Jordan Calhoun, BSSP United States Advisor
Responsibilities: Jordan oversees BSSP operations in the U.S.
Background: Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University.
What she loves: Her favorite part of her job is visiting the BSSP students in Uganda and working with the Uganda BSSP staff team to prepare for a new school year. Jordy is a stud at soccer, loves ice cream, and travels to visit friends in Macedonia.
Akello Jane, BSSP Coach
Responsibilities: BOH Coach for BSSP, Jane works diligently to ensure our students succeed in their courses.
Background: Bachelor degree in Finance from Kyambogo University.
What she loves: Jane’s favorite part of her job is tutoring BSSP students and she deeply desires each student to continually improve. Jane can rock bright red lipstick, enjoys reading Jane Eyre, and dreams of being on American Idol.
Okwalinga Emmanuel, BSSP Coach
Responsibilities: BOH BSSP Coach, Emma faithfully tutors and mentors BSSP students.
Background: Emma has his degree in Art.
What he loves: Emma enjoys dancing, making (and eating) pancakes, and listening to hip-hop and R&B. He was once caught jamming to Justin Bieber, but he claims it was “just on the radio”.
Tigatoola Henry, Agriculture AdvisorResponsibilities: As the advisor of the Agriculture program, Henry regularly meets with women in their fields to help them improve their farming.
Background: Henry was an Agriculture Teacher in a local secondary school and has extensive experience in farming.
What he loves: Henry’s farming expertise has continued to grow and he is passionate about teaching others so they can succeed in farming.
Ndhaye Ahamed, Beads Project Advisor
Responsibilities: Ahamed coordinates and organizes the women in their jewelry making and mentors/encourages them to thrive in all aspects of life.
Background: Ahamed has an extensive background in business and sales.
What he loves: Ahamed loves working with the women and the other staff members. He speaks four languages and makes the most delicious mandazi (donuts) you have ever tasted!
Mackenzie Lanphear, Retail & Marketing Coordinator
Responsibilities: A wearer of many hats, Mackenzie covers everything from shipping to jewelry design to event oversight to marketing.
Background: Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Westmont College.
What she loves: Mackenzie’s favorite part of her job is collaborating with the women on new jewelry designs and chatting with supporters at events. She enjoys a good (or even terrible) pun, cafe au laits, and reading the classics.
