BOH recently celebrated our 12th Anniversary! It has been an amazing journey and we are so excited for all that is still in store. Join us in reflecting on funny memories and sweet moments from the last 12 years.

It is tough to put into words the richness of a life, one marked by deep love, abundant humility, and unwavering kindness--one full of sacrificial friendship, enduring compassion, and faithful dedication. Such was the life of Ndhaye Ahmed.

With the changing of the seasons, comes a fresh anticipation of new things. And this is true for Because of Hope both in the U.S. and Uganda. In Santa Barbara, our office is buzzing with excitement about the holiday season and upcoming events. In Uganda, our women are preparing for a new crop season, which will be significant for food security. And our students eagerly await for schools to reopen...

These last few months have taken everyone by surprise and transformed the way we do so many things. BOH is no exception to this change, as we deal with constantly evolving challenges both here and in Uganda.  A key question during this time is how do we continue empowering our families while also addressing the unprecedented needs that have arisen due to COVID-19?
