When I think about the last 10 years, I think about God's faithfulness. He has carried our organization through seasons of drought and seasons of abundance, and He has been faithful in both. As Jane transitions out of BOH, let's learn a little about a staff member who has made a big impact on our organization and on so many of our students! Jane was our BSSP Coach for the almost six years and worked diligently with our students to ensure they succeeded in their studies. She also helped mentor our students in spiritual and personal matters. She is passionate, fun, and ambitious, and we know she will excel in this next position!
Meet Henry & Kitimbo, two individuals who are dedicated to BOH's mission and help make BOH what it is. Both staff members are actively working towards empowering our women through improving their Farming God's Way techniques. We are hopeful for a really prosperous harvest this season!
To get to know our Uganda staff is to better understand our mission and our work. We have 6 staff members in Uganda and each of them brings something different to the table. This month we will meet Cathie, our Uganda Advisor! Cathie is our BSSP Advisor, Co-founder of WOCAP (our partner organization), and is responsible for many decisions in Uganda.
Part of purchasing ethically made products is really knowing and understanding where your products come from and how they were made. We want to share some of the behind the scenes with you and explain how the jewelry gets from a small village in Uganda to you! We are so excited to share this process with you and let you into the inner workings of BOH. So next time you put on your favorite BOH necklace, you know exactly where it came from and how it was made!
